Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN) and the visiting Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN), saw Buffalo's soccer squad hold off Hopkins by a count of 1-0.

The Bison (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Edina (Edina, MN). The Hornets enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Edina St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 1-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Royals battle the Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN) in a Class AA Section 6 battle, on Thursday, September 12. Hopkins will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 6-0 league win over Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN).
