In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Poplar Bluff Mules soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Carbondale Terriers.
The Mules (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Waynesville (Waynesville, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Waynesville was edged by Carthage (Carthage, MO), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Terriers confront the Sikeston Bulldogs (Sikeston, MO) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 12. Carbondale will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 4-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Bishop DuBourg (St. Louis, MO).
