New Mexico High School Soccer - Valley knocks off Cottonwood Classical Prep

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Valley Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes.

The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Rio Grande by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Coyotes play the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 11. Cottonwood Classical Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Belen (Belen, NM).
