New York High School Soccer - Holland Patent nudges Rome Free Academy

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Holland Patent Golden Knights soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Rome Free Academy Black Knights.
The Golden Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY). The Thunder enter the TVL East outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Central Valley Academy was edged by Proctor (Utica, NY), 5-3, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Black Knights confront the Whitesboro Warriors (Marcy, NY) in a TVL West outing, on Thursday, September 12. Rome Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NY).
