Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Medomak Valley moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Nokomis (Newport, ME) to clash with the Warriors in a Class B - North test on Friday, September 13. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-2. Nokomis lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Oceanside (Rockland, ME)

The Huskies now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Belfast for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Maine Central Institute will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
