Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) and the host Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO), saw Smoky Hill's soccer squad knock off Mountain Range by a count of 3-0.
The Buffaloes (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Olympians enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Gateway by Aurora Central (Aurora, CO), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Mustangs battle the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 12. Mountain Range will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO).
