The Spartans now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hampshire for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 12. Romeoville will play a Whip-Purs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Plainfield East moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bengals travel to Senn (Chicago, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Senn won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Schurz (Chicago, IL)
