In Tuesday's non-league test, the Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the host Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines (Wilber, NE), by a count of 12-6.

The Centurions (6-7) will now prepare for their match against O'Neill (O'Neill, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, O'Neill nipped Boone Central (Albion, NE), 4-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wolverines confront the Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE) in a C District match, on Tuesday, September 10. Wilber-Clatonia will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Broncos come into the match with a 2-11 record after their 8-7 league loss to Fairbury (Fairbury, NE).
