Nebraska High School Softball - Omaha Central edges Duchesne/Roncalli

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Omaha Central Eagles softball team scored a tight 14-12 win over the Duchesne/Roncalli .

The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Chieftains come into the non-league match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Bellevue East nipped Westview (Omaha, NE), 8-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the battle the Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, September 11. Duchesne/Roncalli will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE).
