In Tuesday's non-league test, the Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK) softball squad the visiting Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK), by a count of 11-9.

Next, the Indians meet the Frederick Bombers (Frederick, OK) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 12. Marietta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Bombers go into the test with a 8-14 record after their 10-3 non-league loss to Carnegie (Carnegie, OK).

The Comets (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Central (Marlow, OK). The Bronchos go into the Class A test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, Central held off Ninnekah (Ninnekah, OK), 13-0, in a league test.
