In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Langston Hughes Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Banneker Trojans.
The Panthers (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Chapel Hill beat Douglas County (Douglasville, GA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Washington Bulldogs (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Banneker will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA).
