In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Midd-West Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Central Columbia Bluejays.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA). The Lancers enter the PIAA District IV challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Loyalsock Township beat Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bluejays meet the Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Central Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Ironmen enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA).
