In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Wayne City Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cisne Runnin' Lions.

The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Farina South Central (Farina, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Farina South Central lost by Dieterich (Dieterich, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Runnin' Lions play the Oblong Panthers (Oblong, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Cisne will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, IL).
