In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Davis Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Toppenish Wildcats.

The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA). The Panthers come into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Wenatchee beat Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Grandview Greyhounds (Grandview, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Toppenish will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA).
