The Maury Commodores volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 1 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Commodores now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Western Branch for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. Maury will play a Bruins team coming off a 3-0 league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Great Bridge drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Hawks in a Southeastern outing on Thursday, September 12.
