In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Keene Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Groesbeck Goats.

The Chargers (21-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region III District 18 challenge with a 18-10 record. In their last challenge, Palmer beat Mildred (Corsicana, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Goats meet the Elkhart Elks (Elkhart, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 challenge, on Friday, September 13. Groesbeck will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Elks come into the challenge with a 17-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Malakoff (Malakoff, TX).
