In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host West Iron County Wykons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Gwinn Modeltowners.

The Wykons (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Stephenson (Stephenson, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Stephenson was beaten by Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Modeltowners meet the Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Gwinn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Emeralds come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI).
