Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX) and the host Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX), observed Hondo's volleyball team top Sabinal by a count of 3-0.

The Owls (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Indians/Squaws enter the 3A Region IV District 27 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Jourdanton was knocked off by Goliad (Goliad, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Yellowjackets battle the Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. Sabinal will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record.
