The Wellsville Lions topped the host Houghton Academy Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Lions confront the Bloomfield Bombers (Bloomfield, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 14. Wellsville will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bombers go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY).
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Fillmore (Fillmore, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 5 Allegany County game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Fillmore was dropped by Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY), 3-1, in a league game.
