Maine High School Volleyball - Westbrook over Lake Region

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Westbrook Blue Blazes volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Lake Region Lakers.
The Blue Blazes (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Massabesic (Waterboro, ME). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Massabesic was beaten by South Portland (South Portland, ME), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lakers meet the Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) in a Class B challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Lake Region will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Maranacook (Readfield, ME).
