Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) and the visiting St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT), observed Lyndon Institute's volleyball team top St. Johnsbury Academy by a count of 3-1.

The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Missisquoi Valley was knocked off by Vermont Commons (South Burlington, VT), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hilltoppers meet the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) in a Northern contest, on Friday, September 13. St. Johnsbury Academy will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
