The Maypearl Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Whitney Wildcats to 2 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Scurry-Rosser for a 3A Region III District 18 outing on Friday, September 13. Maypearl will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Kerens (Kerens, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-8.
With the loss, Whitney drops to 4-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Gatesville (Gatesville, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 15-9.
