The West Aurora Blackhawks flag football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Elgin Maroons to 0 in the Blackhawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blackhawks now hold a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. West Aurora will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 30-29 league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-6.

The Maroons (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Glenbard North was ripped by St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL), 40-12, in a league challenge.
