Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) followers went home pleased Wednesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA), 33-0 in a non-league battle.

The Bears (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Giants enter the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Redwood was routed by Berkeley (Berkeley, CA), 40-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies confront the Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 15. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
