Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Concord Bears (Concord, CA), 18-6 in a league test.

The Matadors now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Las Lomas for a test on Monday, September 15. Miramonte will meet a Knights squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Concord drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to meet the Knights in a test on Wednesday, September 17. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 6-2.
