The Shakopee Sabers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Eastview Lightning to 0 in the Sabers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Sabers now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mahtomedi for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Shakopee will play a Zephyrs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Zephyrs record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Eastview moves to 3-2 on the year. The Lightning travel to Park (Cottage Grove, MN) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Park lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)
