The Carroll County Cavaliers got by the visiting Pulaski County Cougars football team by a score of 16-14 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Carroll County will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 40-8 non-league loss to Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA).
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Staunton River tipped Liberty (Bedford, VA), 34-6, in a non-league test.
