The Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) football trounced the visiting Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD), 48-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Cadets enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
Coming up next, the Buccaneers battle the Easton Warriors (Easton, MD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 18. Kent Island will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 40-0 non-league loss to Parkside (Salisbury, MD).
