Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Chesterton moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Penn (Mishawaka, IN) to meet the Kingsmen in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Kingsmen come into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Pirates now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Valparaiso for a test on Wednesday, September 17.
