In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Statesville Greyhounds soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the South Caldwell Spartans.
The Greyhounds (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Davie County (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Davie County tipped Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 12. South Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over East Rutherford (Bostic, NC).
