Xavier College Prep Gators (Phoenix, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Xavier College Prep improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Gators host Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Thunder in a test on Thursday, September 25. The Thunder go into the test with a record of 4-2.

The Bears now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Mountain for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Basha will face a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-0.
