With the win, Chavez improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to encounter the Lancers in a test on Thursday, September 11. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Grant lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Poly (Sun Valley, CA)

The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sylmar for a challenge on Wednesday, September 17.
