The Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) volleyball held off the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest.
The Mariners (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Squalicum was tipped by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mountaineers battle the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Mt. Baker will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA).
