The St. Henry Crusaders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds to 0 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Crusaders now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 17. St. Henry will confront a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
The Thoroughbreds (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Walton-Verona went down by Cooper (Union, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
