The North Iredell Raiders soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Ashbrook Greenwave to 1 in the Raiders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Raiders now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mooresville for a North Piedmont 6A/7A bout on Tuesday, September 16. North Iredell will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Ashbrook falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Greenwave travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to face the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. The Indians come into the game with a record of 0-7. St. Stephens lost 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Patton (Morganton, NC)
