Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the DuPont Manual Crimsons (Louisville, KY) and the host Butler Bears (Louisville, KY), saw DuPont Manual's soccer squad knock off Butler by a count of 3-1.

The Crimsons (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers enter the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Franklin County by Western Hills (Frankfort, KY), 3-1, in a league match.

The Bears now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ohio County for a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. Butler will meet a Eagles team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
