The Whirlies (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the Metro 6A/7A outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Ben L. Smith got by Reidsville (Reidsville, NC), 4-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. East Forsyth will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 7-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).
