In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Rowan County Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 win over the Fleming County Panthers.

The Vikings (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Russell (Russell, KY). The Red Devils enter the non-league outing with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Russell nipped Ignite Athletics (Hurricane, WV), 4-0, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bath County for a District 61 test on Tuesday, September 16. Fleming County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-8.
