Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer squad nudge the host Northfield Mount Hermon Hoggers (Mount Hermon, MA), 4-3 in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Wilbraham & Monson Academy edged Westminster School (Simsbury, CT), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Hoggers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milton Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Northfield Mount Hermon will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
