The Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH) soccer nipped the visiting River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH), 1-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ontario for a Mid-Ohio challenge on Thursday, September 11. Pleasant will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, River Valley moves to 2-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to Highland (Marengo, OH) to encounter the Fighting Scots in a Mid-Ohio contest on Monday, September 15. The Fighting Scots enter the contest with a record of 5-1.
