The Farmington Knights softball squad (Farmington, MO), was routed 8-4 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO)

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Doniphan (Doniphan, MO). The Dons go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Doniphan tipped Kelly (Benton, MO), 9-2, in a non-league contest.

The Knights now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fredericktown for a non-league contest on Monday, September 15. Farmington will battle a Black Cats team coming off a 12-8 non-league win over North County (Bonne Terre, MO). The Black Cats record now stands at 5-0.
