The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Hazelwood West Wildcats (Hazelwood, MO) and the visiting Parkway North Vikings (St. Louis, MO), observed Hazelwood West's softball team get by Parkway North by a tally of 4-3.

The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Parkway South Patriots (Manchester, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Parkway North will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
