The Southbridge Pioneers volleyball team (Southbridge, MA), was beaten 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Baystate Academy (Springfield, MA)

The (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Amherst-Pelham Regional (Amherst, MA). The Hurricanes enter the Pioneer Valley - Northern challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Amherst-Pelham Regional beat Agawam (Agawam, MA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles (Marlborough, MA) in a Central Mass test, on Friday, September 12. Southbridge will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA).
