In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Trezevant Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Bolton Wildcats.
The Bears (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Memphis Rise Academy (Memphis, TN). The come into the A District 14 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Memphis Rise Academy went down by KIPP Collegiate (Memphis, TN), 3-0, in a league test.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolivar Central for a AA District 14 test on Thursday, September 11. Bolton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Haywood (Brownsville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
