Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Chickasaw Chieftains (Chickasaw, AL) and the visiting Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL), observed Chickasaw's volleyball team top Clarke County by a count of 3-0.

The Chieftains (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rain (Mobile, AL). The Red Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blacksher for a 2A Area 3 contest on Thursday, September 11. Clarke County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Washington County (Chatom, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
