In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Foothill Knights volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Laguna Beach Breakers.

The Knights (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Golden Hawks come into the Freeway challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, El Dorado was nudged by Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Breakers meet the Rosary Academy Royals (Fullerton, CA) in a Pacific Coast test, on Thursday, September 11. Laguna Beach will attempt to advance on its 7-16 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 14-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA).
