Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) and the host Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA), observed Monterey's volleyball team top Monte Vista Christian by a count of 3-0.

The Dores (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hollister (Hollister, CA). The Haybalers enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Hollister was knocked off by Branham (San Jose, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Monte Vista Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
