With the win, Wythe upgrades its record to 3-7 on the year. The Maroons travel to Galax (Galax, VA) to play the Maroon Tide in a Mountain Empire bout on Tuesday, September 14. The Maroon Tide go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Galax won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Graham (Bluefield, VA)
