In Sunday's non-league battle, the visiting Nichols Vikings soccer squad scored a close 5-2 triumph over the Schalmont Sabres.
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY). The Little Irish come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
The Sabres (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cohoes (Cohoes, NY). The Tigers come into the Colonial Council battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Cohoes nudged Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY), 8-0, in a league battle.
