In Sunday's non-league battle, the visiting Fenton Bison soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Waukegan Bulldogs.
The Bison (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm go into the Upstate Eight battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, South Elgin was nudged by Jacobs (Algonquin, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs go into the North Suburban - Lake battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Mundelein was nudged by Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
